The Blessing Of Being Investor-Free

How rejection from investors can lead to unexpected success.

We're investor-free, but not by design.

My fundraising efforts led to nothing but closed doors.

Investors didn’t believe in us. They said:

  • We’re wasting time.
  • We’re doing it wrong.
  • We’re in a niche market.
  • We’re backing the wrong horse.
  • We don’t have the right background.

But ignorance was our bliss. We didn’t have a choice.

My co-founders & I:

  • We saw something.
  • We believed in it.
  • We kept at it.

And it turned out to be okay.

It was anything but easy.

And nowhere near fun.

But we endured.

We lasted long enough to catch our break.

If you’re anywhere on this journey, and you’re fighting against the tides, know that’s okay.

It’s part of the game you and I have chosen to play.

Just hang in there for one more round, and you might just catch your side of luck.

Now, what's your gut feeling telling you? Are you close to your breakthrough?
